Professional Engineering Design
CAD Design & 3D Modeling
Don't have a print-ready file? No problem. Our modeling team turns sketches, photos, broken parts, and ideas into precise, manufacturable 3D models — optimized for your chosen print technology.
Not every project starts with a finished CAD file. At 3D Print Everything, our in-house design team bridges the gap between your idea and a physical part. Whether you have a napkin sketch, a reference photo, a broken component that needs reverse engineering, or just a verbal description of what you need — we create the 3D model that makes manufacturing possible.
Our designers work in industry-standard tools including SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and Blender, producing parametric models that can be easily modified for future iterations. Every file we deliver is optimized for your target manufacturing process — whether that's FDM printing, resin printing, CNC machining, or injection molding.
This service is available standalone (we deliver the files, you print wherever you want) or bundled with our printing services for a seamless concept-to-part workflow. Either way, you own the files — no licensing restrictions, no recurring fees.
What We Offer
Common Use Cases
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does 3D modeling cost?+
Simple parts (brackets, covers, basic shapes) typically run $50-150. Complex organic models or multi-part assemblies can range from $200-1000+. We provide a fixed quote before starting any work.
What do you need from me to get started?+
Anything helps: sketches, photos, dimensions, reference parts, verbal descriptions, or existing files that need modification. The more reference material you provide, the faster and more accurate the result.
What file formats do you deliver?+
We deliver STL and 3MF for 3D printing, STEP for CNC/injection molding, and native CAD files (Fusion 360 or SolidWorks) for future editing. All formats are included at no extra charge.
Can you reverse engineer a physical part?+
Yes. Ship us the part (or bring it to our Frisco location) and we'll measure and model it. For complex geometries, we use 3D scanning to capture the shape digitally before modeling.
How long does modeling take?+
Simple parts: 1-2 business days. Complex assemblies: 3-7 business days. Rush service is available. We send progress screenshots so you can provide feedback before the model is finalized.
