Concept to Physical Part in Days
Rapid Prototyping Services
Go from CAD file to physical prototype in as little as 24 hours. Test form, fit, and function before committing to expensive tooling — iterate faster and launch sooner.
Rapid prototyping is the fastest path from idea to physical validation. At 3D Print Everything, we help engineers, product designers, and startups in the Dallas-Fort Worth area turn digital designs into tangible prototypes that can be tested, demonstrated to stakeholders, and iterated upon — all without the weeks-long lead times and thousands of dollars that traditional manufacturing demands.
Our prototyping service isn't just about printing parts. We provide design-for-manufacturing feedback with every order, helping you avoid common pitfalls before you commit to production tooling. Need a concept model for a pitch meeting? A functional prototype for drop testing? A series of design iterations to nail the ergonomics? We handle it all.
With FDM, resin, and metal printing technologies in-house, we can match the right process to your prototype's requirements — whether that's a rough concept model in PLA, a high-detail visual prototype in resin, or a functional metal component for real-world testing.
What We Offer
Common Use Cases
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can I get a prototype?+
Standard turnaround is 3-5 business days. Rush service (24-48 hours) is available for most projects. Extremely large or complex multi-part assemblies may take longer.
Do I need a finished CAD file to get started?+
No! We can work from sketches, photos, rough dimensions, or even verbal descriptions. Our 3D modeling team can create the CAD file for you, then print the prototype — all under one roof.
How many iterations are typical?+
Most products go through 2-4 prototype iterations before reaching production readiness. We offer discounted pricing for iterative projects since we're already familiar with your design.
Can the prototype be used as a production part?+
In many cases, yes. FDM parts in engineering materials (Nylon, PC, CF-Nylon) are used as end-use parts in low-volume applications. We'll advise whether your prototype material is suitable for production use.
Do you sign NDAs?+
Absolutely. We work with startups, defense contractors, and medical device companies regularly. We're happy to sign your NDA before you share any files or details.
