Resin 3D Printing Services

When detail matters — resin printing delivers the smoothest surfaces, sharpest edges, and finest features of any 3D printing technology. Ideal for visual prototypes, jewelry, dental models, and precision components.

Resin 3D printing (SLA/DLP) uses UV-cured photopolymers to produce parts with exceptional surface quality and dimensional accuracy. At 3D Print Everything, we operate large-format resin printers capable of producing parts with layer heights as fine as 25 microns — that's thinner than a human hair.

This technology excels where FDM can't: intricate jewelry masters, dental models with sub-millimeter features, tabletop miniatures with crisp detail, and engineering prototypes that need to look and feel like injection-molded production parts.

Our resin printing service is popular with jewelers, dentists, product designers, and hobbyists across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We offer a range of specialty resins including flexible, castable, high-temperature, and ABS-like tough resins to match your application requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between resin and FDM printing?+

Resin printing uses liquid photopolymer cured by UV light, producing much finer detail and smoother surfaces than FDM. FDM is better for large, functional parts; resin excels at small, detailed, or visual parts.

How strong are resin prints?+

Standard resin is somewhat brittle compared to FDM materials. However, ABS-like tough resin and engineering resins offer excellent impact resistance and can handle functional applications.

Can resin prints be used for casting?+

Yes! We offer castable resin specifically designed for lost-wax casting. Jewelers and metalworkers use our prints as masters for gold, silver, and bronze casting.

What's the maximum size for resin printing?+

Our large-format resin printers can produce parts up to approximately 300mm × 165mm × 400mm in a single piece. Larger items can be printed in sections and assembled.

Are resin prints safe for food contact or skin?+

Standard resins are not food-safe or biocompatible. For dental or skin-contact applications, we use FDA-compliant specialty resins. Let us know your use case and we'll recommend the right material.
